Dr. Gabrielle Hester, Medical Director at Children’s Minnesota, Joins Advisory Board

NEW YORK, September 23, 2022

Gabrielle Hester, MD, MS, a leader in pediatric guidelines and evidence-based medicine and Medical Director of Quality Improvement at Children's Minnesota, has joined the Advisory Board of AvoMD, a company empowering clinicians with evidence-based, decision-making software designed for point-of-care use.

Dr. Hester, an early customer and adopter of AvoMD, decided to formally join as an advisor because “the team is truly invested in creating a product that serves the needs of frontline of clinicians and the patients they treat” and “the AvoMD vision aligns closely with where I see medicine is headed.”

As the Medical Director of Quality Improvement at Children's Minnesota, Dr. Hester’s primary focus is the development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines. She is passionate about health equity, value, patient-centered care, and "making it easy to do the right thing."

Dr. Hester completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before completing a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship and a Master's of Science in Clinical Investigation at the University of Utah.
