Publication: AvoMD as a Guide During the Information Crisis of COVID

In the International Journal of Clinical Research & Trials, we discuss how COVID's spread, and the medical community’s response, cast light on an important deficiency in the speed and effectiveness for evidence-based recommendations to reach the bedside in academic medical practice.

We built a clinical decision support tool on the AvoMD platform that systematizes and personalizes the treatment of COVID-19 by bringing point-of-care access to the guidelines specific to individual cases to the clinician’s hands. This app has the potential to improve the mortality for COVID-19.
