AvoMD and PM Pediatrics Expand Partnership to Create Digital Evidence-Based Clinical Guidelines

Country’s Leading Pediatric Urgent Care Provider to Completely Digitize Clinical Guidelines

Via Software Platform That Provides Point-of-Care Support For Clinicians

NEW YORK, NY – May 21, 2021 – PM Pediatrics, the nation’s leader in specialized pediatric urgent care, is expanding its collaboration with AvoMD, an app-driven software platform for next-gen clinical guidelines and decision support, to further improve the way PM Pediatrics’ clinicians access, learn, and use the company’s evidence-based clinical care guidelines.

In Fall 2020, the two parties partnered to digitize a subset of PM Pediatrics’ clinical guidelines into highly usable and interactive formats available via the AvoMD mobile app. Now, the expanded collaboration includes the following initiatives:

  • PM Pediatrics will upload the entirety of its clinical guidelines onto the AvoMD platform.

  • Providers will be able to access AvoMD on the web and via the electronic health record system, in addition to the mobile app

  • Leadership will receive access to AvoMD’s analytics to better understand guideline usage and drive detailed, quality-focused insights

Ultimately, the enhanced partnership will equip PM Pediatrics providers with a digital arsenal of next-gen urgent care guidelines and allow the company to proactively deliver high quality care.

“AvoMD’s platform has been instrumental in assisting us as we translate our guidelines to a digital format and continue to update and distribute them in real-time in the ever-evolving medical landscape,” said Dr. Mordechai Raskas, Chief Medical Information Officer and Director of Telemedicine for PM Pediatrics. “We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of creating urgent care guidelines for our team. By providing us with easily accessible, interactive evidence-based tools and decision support, AvoMD supports our mission of improving the safety and quality of patient care.”

Dr. Yair Saperstein, CEO of AvoMD, added, “The expanded partnership with PM Pediatrics underscores both organizations’ commitment to enhancing the provider experience and delivering the highest quality of care. We are privileged to be able to work with such a forward-looking and passionate team at PM Pediatrics.”
