AvoMD's Web Tool Now Available For Free; More Modules On the Way

Users can now access AvoMD, for free, on both web and mobile applications.

Free Web Tool Launched to the Public

AvoMD's has opened its web-based, Point-of-Care App to the public to further its mission of democratizing evidence-based medicine at the bedside.


The tool can be accessed, for free, from AvoMD's website at this link. AvoMD's mobile app can also be downloaded for free on iOS and Android.



New Decision Support Module - Evaluation of AKI

Additionally, AvoMD has published a new module on both its web and mobile applications - Evaluation of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in the Inpatient Setting. This module is meant for the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized adults who present with AKI and is based on publications from KDOQI, KDIGO, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. The module was authored by Shawn Ong, MD, MHS, an Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale University School of medicine and Medical Information Officer at Yale New Haven Health.
